As we draw closer to Thanksgiving,  thoughts invariably turn to giving thanks for the many gifts in our lives. I had a pretty cool experience of that this past week at the conference I'm attending. The speaker invited us to share with the people sitting at our table our encounters with abundance—moments when we have been surprised, delighted, or touched by abundance in our lives. Some people at our table shared about how they experienced that abundance in the kind and generous actions of others, some shared "aha!" moments when they realized abundance goes far beyond how much we have in our bank accounts. At the end of our sharing, we all felt deeply grateful for the goodness and abundance in our lives.

Where have you encountered abundance in your life? I think it will help us reflect on and practice the gratitude this season invites.
